FINANCIAL AID
Step Up for Students provides the Florida Tax Credit Personalized Education Program (FTC-PEP) and Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA) scholarships for home education options. Scholarships vary per student, however, the average award was $8,000 for the
FTC-PEP scholarship and $10,000 for the
FES-UA scholarship.

Note: Scholarship payments can be paid directly to approved service providers on a quarterly basis. Step Up for Students will reimburse for eligible expenses, which includes home education instructional programs. Visit stepupforstudents.org for additional information.

PARENT VOLUNTEER HOURS PROGRAM
To support families experiencing financial difficulties with enrollment and/or materials fees, Our Homeroom Jax, Inc. offers a volunteer exchange option for those who demonstrate a financial need. Families requesting assistance must provide proof of need through one or more of the following:

Participation in government assistance programs (e.g., SNAP, WIC, Medicaid)

Recent proof of financial hardship (e.g., job loss, unexpected medical expenses)
Approved families will be required to fulfill designated volunteer hours in exchange for partial or full coverage of fees.
